Why Isaac? Because the Velocity outclasses its rivals – at a fraction of the price.
The Isaac Velocity was developed according to a detailed brief provided to Isaac by us, RBS. We wanted a dual purpose Track Pursuit and Fixed-Wheel TT frame using the basic mould-form of the existing Joule model. We wanted it to accept any type of rear hub. We wanted adjustable BB height, for different tracks. We wanted a dropout design incorporating chain tugs to make chain adjustment easy and the possibility of a wheel pulling over impossible. We wanted a reinforced structure that could handle the explosive power of the Kilo. We asked for it and Isaac gave it to us.
The Velocity has been taken up by riders in the Swedish, New Zealand, Polish and Spanish National Track Squads. The Velocity can be seen at many national, international and World Cup events. The Velocity has also found favour with one of the world’s most powerful sprinters – a two metre, one-hundred kilo human dynamo called Lukasz Kwiatkowski. Lucasz regularly wins the 200m qualifying TT for the Sprint at UCI Track World Cup events – and is the star of the Polish track squad. The Velocity was not designed for sprinting and is significantly lighter than a specific sprinting frame. Is there any better test of this frame’s efficiency and structural integrity? And, you might just see a Velocity being used for road time trialling early in the morning on a British dual-carriageway. |
